Ingredient Categories
The 2 ingredient categories are:
suitable for human consumption but channelled to the pet food sector for commercial reasons;
by-products that are only suitable for pet food.
It is considered that ingredients suitable for human consumption (but channelled to the pet food sector for commercial reasons) are nutritionally superior to by-product ingredients that are only suitable for pet food.
Food Categories
The 2 food categories are:
not integrated, without the addition of vitamins, minerals or additives. Foods designed for those who think that the best diet alternates natural sources of nutrients without added artificial ingredients, consistent with thousands of years of tradition;
integrated, that envisage the addition of vitamins, minerals, probiotics and/or other ingredients. Designed for those who think that the diet either can or must always remain the same with minimum variations, only envisaging significant changes during the three essential phases of life:
puppy, adult, senior.
